Sharen Bentley was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, |
|||||||||
where she graduated from Western Canada High School. |
|||||||||
She has been painting most of her life. Her greatest talent |
|||||||||
lies in Abstract Expression. |
|||||||||
|
|||||||||
Sharen exudes the true nature of what it means to be an |
|||||||||
artist. She has the rare ability to pour her emotions out on |
|||||||||
canvas with an incredible sense of creative spontaneity and |
|||||||||
urgency. Her own words say it all, "When I pick up brush |
|||||||||
and palette knife, I use the bright colors to express my joy |
|||||||||
of life and the energy of my soul creates the music on |
|||||||||
canvas". |

ZooMoo, a Herb Sellin Millennium Project, is a jeweled |
|||||||||
cow consisting of 18,578 glass gems. Sharen assisted in |
|||||||||
the application of the ZooMoo design. Zoo Moo is presently |
|||||||||
on exhibition in the lobby of the TransCanada Tower in |
|||||||||
Calgary, Alberta, Canada. |
